About the memorial: Two large bronze plaques, set into alcoves on either side of the arched entrance to the Lloyds building, showing 3 columns of names in raised lettering. Above the plaques are stone panoplies with WW1 & WW2 dedications below the company shield encompassed within a wreath with ribbons. Below are stone cills with 3 wreaths in relief. By the door is a further plaque recording the date of unveiling.
