At the top - "Asselby Roll of Honour" and immediately below " For King and Country" both in raised lettering. Followed by the names of those who served and fell in WW1 and WW2 in two columns of incised black lettering.
WW1 - names and regiment in which they served in two columns. The five who were killed are at the top, 3 on left and 2 on the right followed by two columns each 15 who served. WW2 - names of two who were killed at the top, one left and one right, followed by two columns of ten each who served including five women.
