About the memorial: Bronze memorial plaque remembering the members of the Birmingham Co-operative Society who lost their lives in World War Two. The plaque was initially on the memorial gate to the entrance to the Co-operative playing fields in Brewers Lane, but has been moved into St Edbugha's Church when the playing fields were sold for housing
