To the glory of God and in loving memory of two brothers Sergt. Christopher Farrer Auckland Mounted Rifles killed in action in Gallipoli 20th May 1915 aged 23 years. Spr. Thomas Cullen Farrer New Zealand Engineers killed in action n Armentieres 29th June 1916 aged 22 years. Both served in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force in the Great War 1914-1918. True love by life true love by death is tried, live thou for England we foe England died.
