About the memorial: STONE CRUCIFIX SURMOUNTING TAPERING OCTAGONAL SHAFT. SHAFT STANDS ON PEDESTAL. OCTAGONAL PEDESTAL SURMOUNTS FOUR-STEPPED OCTAGONAL BASE. NAMES AND INSCRIPTION CARVED INTO BASE. TWO FIGURES (THE TWO MARYS?) CARVED AND STAND AT BASE OF CHRIST FIGURE. CROSS HAS ORNATE CARVING ON EACH END OF HEAD OF CROSS. CARVINGS IN PEDESTAL INCLUDE STAFFORDSHIRE KNOT AND FLEUR DE LYS.
