About the memorial: The tablet refers to the pulpit staircase and transept floor as being a memorial. The plaque is on the wall next to the pulpit steps. Ethel was killed working as an Air Raid Warden in Wandsworth. Frederick was a member of the Home Guard in Chiswick.
