About the memorial: A memorial to the crews of Halifax aircraft JP201 and LL137 which collided and crashed on the 15th of November 1944. LL137 was crewed by Royal Canadian Air Force and JP201 by RAFVR and Royal Australian Air Force.

In memory of two Halifax aircraft which collided over this parish on the night of November 15th 1944. This memorial was erected to their honour on November 6th 1994
