About the memorial: Memorial to First and Second World Wars. c.1920. Sandstone with commemorative tablets of grey granite. Tall, 2-stage square pedestal with projecting canted corners on stepped and moulded base. Lower stage has 2 tablets in moulded surrounds and deeply coved cornice. Narrower upper stage with single commemorative tablet flanked by 2 slightly over-life-size figures on canted corner plinths, of an infantryman and sailor. Memorial surmounted by a winged female figure on a stepped and moulded base.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
