About the memorial: A brass, arched plaque with a woven branch border ( with red shield & roundel in bottom corners) showing a large etching of Lt Petit holding a sword surrounded by swirls of small leafed branches. At the base is the dedication in black, uppercase, incised lettering. Plaque is set between pillars in an arched section of the wall. He died at Lichfield in 1853 having been seriously wounded in several battles of the Sikh War of 1845-46. It is in St John's Chapel.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
