About the memorial: Family Memorial Seat, outside Church. Sorry about shadow! Stone-built bench seat, set close to south wall of the Church. The slate seating and backrest, bear incised inscriptions and two family names. Further incised family names appear on a slate tablet set into the vertical face of the front stonework. Lt. Cmdr. John Lane is the only war casualty.
