In affectionate remembrance of William Murray Caldwell Greaves-Bagshawe only son of William Henry Greaves-Bagshawe of Ford Hall and Bannercross. He was a J P for this county and a Lieutenant in the Imperial Yeomanry. He was born 19 October 1864 and lost at sea of the coast of Madagascar on his return from active service in South Africa 20 May 1901. “The sea gave up the dead that were in it” Rev xx 13."
