About the memorial: WWI brass panel mounted on Purbeck marble frame in memory of Charles Leslie Clement Lucas. Other memorials in the church include a WWI brass plaque to five fallen (Archibald J. Parker, George Sageman, Henry G. Tree (all of the Royal Sussex Regt), C.L. Clement Lucas (Northamptonshire Regt) & Richard Harber (Royal Fusiliers)) and a WWII stone plaque in memory of Flying Officer R.A. Buckman (RAF), Pte James Carver (Sx Regt), Sgt Frederick Luxford (RAF) & Rifleman Emrys Nicholas (KRRC).
