Sacred to the memory of Frederick Roger Frankland, midshipman H.M.S. Winchester who died of fever at Sierre Leone 23rd Jan 1844 aged 20 years. Tomas Frankland, Lieut 48th Madras Native Infantry and 2nd in command 2nd Punjab Regt killed in action with the Sepoy rebels, leading an assault at the relief of Luknow 17th Nov 1858 aged 29 years. Harry Albert Frankland, midshipman H.M.S. Alarm who died of fever off Vera Cruz, 9th May 1847 aged 17 years, the beloved sons of Sir Frederick Wm Frankland 8th Bart late Capt 20th Regt and Dame Katherine Margaret his wife
