About the memorial: A very simple but nicely painted and lettered framed Roll of Honour hung at the west end of the church. Listing names and units of 36 men. In the top righthand corner is a wreath of green laurel leaves bound by red, white and blue ribbons. The years 1914 & 1919 are inside this wreath. From the wreath descend two swags forming a border along the top and down both sides turning in at the foot of the page. The words Pro Patria are between the swags in the centre at the foot of the page. Within this border is a table headed by the word Gillamoor and below are listed in alphabetical order the names and units of those who served. All the writing is in black ink.
