About the memorial: A brass plaque dedicated to one man killed in action erected by parents and siblings. It is outlined to form a frame with the cap badge in relief at the top with distinctive writing in an old English text some in black and red in fill. It is fixed to the choristers pews.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.

To the Glory of God and in pure Loving Memory of our dear Son and Brother, ............. killed in action on the Duala River Mesopotamia March 8th 1917 He was Chorister and Cross Bearer of this Church for18 years and Scout Master of the St. Editha's Troop B.P. Scouts in this town. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friend."
