Sacred to the memory of JOHN AUGUST STEPHENS T.D. Major R.F.A.(T) Who died Fed 3rd 1925 aged 54 After a long illness due to Service in the 1914-1918 War. And of his elder son CHARLE JOHN THOMPSON STEPHENS Lieutenant Commander R.N. Lost in H.M.S. “Glorious” during A naval action off Narvik On June 8th 1940 aged 32. “And the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”
