The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

Born in Tiverton in 1882. Died 25 August 1918 aged 37. J.COLLARD 30181 Corporal James Collard of the 13th battalion, the Gloucestershire Regiment. Son of Isaac and Ann Collard of Cadeleigh. Born in Templeton in 1875. Died 26 April 1918 aged 43. H. P. DAVIS 31204 Private Harold Pashley Davis of the Somerset Light Infantry. Son of Rev. Edward and Gertrude Davis of Chevithorne Vicarage. Died 11 April 1917 aged 25. R.ELLIS 9976 Private Robert Ellis 2nd Battalion, the Coldstream Guards. Brother of John Ellis of New Buildings, Chevithorne; son of the late John and late Maria Ellis. Born in Tiverton 1890. Died 8 October 1914 aged 24. W.ELLIS 11047 Private William Ellis of the 1st Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of the late John and late Maria Ellis; brother of Robert Ellis (see above). Born in Tiverton in 1888. Died 23 April 1917 aged 29. I. HILL 310448 Blacksmith's Mate Isaac Hill of the Royal Navy, HMS Ariadne. Son of James and Mary Hill; brother of Tom (see below). Born in Chevithorne in 1885. Born in Chevithorne in 1875. Died 23 April 1917 aged 42. E.HANKIN 53037 Gunner Ernest Charles Hankin of the Royal Garrison Artillery. Son of the late Fanny and Charles Hankin; grandson of Frances Hampton. Born in Standon, Herts in 1897 but lived at Widford, Herts. Died 22 April 1917 aged 20. A.STADDON 10645 Private Arthur Staddon of the 8th battalion the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Richard and Jane Staddon. Born in Tiverton in 1896 . Died 25 September 1915 aged 19. C.HUGHES Believed to be 849 Private Claude Hughes of the North Somerset Yeomanry. Parents not known but as a child boarded with the family of John and Elizabeth Davey. Born in St. Thomas, Exeter in 1889. Discharged as unfit 6 March 1917; possibly died 19 February 1920. If so, aged 31. S.KEEN 14817 Private Samuel Keen of the 8th battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Samuel Ken (w). Born in Cheriton Fitzpaine in the June Quarter of 1880. Died 25 September 1915 aged 35.
