About the memorial: Displayed as a trio, with a roll of honour for all those who served at the top. Two separate brass plaques, the first has Maltese crosses in the corner, the second had a Christian cross in the centre of the war years, both mounted on wood for the two world wars. The roll of honour was moved to the church when the Alvecote and Shuttington Social Club was demolished.
