About the memorial: Bronze war memorial plaque on stone mount attached to the wall inside the parish church of Stock Gaylard and Kings Stag. The memorial is of an approximately life size recumbent figure and was sculpted by Henry Alfred Pegram in 1919. (MW) The house and grounds are only open 28 days of the year. I went there on an off day and the church was locked. I have done a Condition Update based on the previous visitor's photos. (CEM)
