About the memorial: Plaque is attached to the wall of the north transept in what appears to be a memorial chapel. it is in the corner, difficult to view because of pews placed in front of it. The New Zealand flag hangs above it. See entry in Black Country Bugle about connection to Cannock Chase The story of the annual Anzac ceremony that first took place in 1918 (there are 73 New Zealanders buried in Cannock's CWGC cemetery), the recently discovered Stafford Shooting Shield given to the NZRB in 1920 and the Flag Exchange ceremony in May 1919, when the NZRB departed from Cannock Chase, will also be incorporated. the NZRB spent on Cannock Chase between 1917 and 1919
