IN LOVING MEMORY OF RICHARD DUDGATE DUSGATE ESQRE. LORD OF THIS MANOR WHO DIED AT FRING HALL 6TH FEB. 1918. AGED 67. "I WILL BOTH LAY YE DOWN IN PEACE AND SLEEP: FOR THOU LORD, ONLY MAKETH ME DWELL IN SAFETY" ALSO OF HIS ELDEST SON RICHARD EDMUND DUSGATE ESQRE. 2ND LIEUT. ROYAL FLYING CORPS. WHO DIED FOR HIS COUNTRY OF WOUNDS RECEIVED IN ACTION ON 19TH DEC. 1917, AGED 20, AND WAS BURIED AT VALENCIENNES IN FRANCE. "HE BEING MADE PERFECT IN A SHORT TIME FULFILLED A LONG TIME."
