About the memorial: on a grass triangle at the road junction , a wooden shrine with a triangular roof set on a stone plinth. There is a crucifix attached below the roof with the names on a glazed wooden board below. A brass plaque is attached to the 12 o'clock face of the plinth with the dedication in black lettering.
