About the memorial: A wonderful decorative memorial with a carved border and lettering in gold leaf. This memorial commemorates not only those members of the armed services but also men of the merchant navy, who were lost at sea. The memorial hangs on the westerly wall of this beautiful church, impressively mounted and clearly well cared for. The church serves a Welsh speaking congregation and therefore the inscriptions are all in Welsh Cymraeg,
