About the memorial: I have visited the Tank Museum many times when I was a teacher with parties of schoolboys but never thought of it as a war memorial in itself though it obviously contained several. However, revisiting it with my War Memorials trust/Online hat on, the first thing I saw was an array of wreaths in the entrance hall around the welcoming signage. So the organisation clearly sees itself as a war memorial in its own right and of course the exhibits, both metallic and accounts of human endeavour in wartime, are commemorations of the various wars since 1914. So I have decided to include it on this website.
