About the memorial: A contemporary memorial funded by the local community and erected in 2014 to remember those members of the parish that gave their lives in the world wars. Consists of four paving slabs with a slate plate inscribed with the text. The slabs are placed atop a rough stone base. The memorial is tastefully situated in a lovely small field of tended grass, beside the A44 in the village centre, next to the hall.
