Left Face of Plinth: 1935 - 1945/ WW2 Names. Rear Face of Plinth: "In memory of the Canadian troops/ who left Wisborough Green on 19th. August 1942/ to take part in the raid on Dieppe,/ many of whom paid the supreme sacrifice."
