About the memorial: The memorial is a set of 3 identical copper flower holders which are attached to the north wall of the church around the First World War Mamorial (one below and two on each side). The central one is inscribed with the dedication and the other two with the names.

The three vases for flowers are in grateful remembrance of those men from Haxby who died in the War of A.D. 1939 to 1945. For as in Adam all die even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
