About the memorial: The Lychgate at the entrance to the churchyard, off Mill Road. A timber structure supported on two low, brick walls. The cross member stating the memoriam, and with one wooden panel on eack of the left and right elevations, one commemorating the dead from WW1 and the other the daed from WW2.
