About the memorial: A white marble tablet with the incised lettering coloured black, it is surrounded by a black & green marble frame. The tablet is on the north wall of the church immediately under the WW1 memorial. Flt Lieutenant Desmond Ibbotson DFC and Bar killed aged 23 over Assisi ,Italy was a" Flying Ace" Spitfire pilot of WW11.He was born and brought up in Harewood and attended this Church where the memorial plaque to him is placed. The plaque has deteriorated over the years as also have the Union Jack flags which hang above the plaque. The Church is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust in partnership with the Harewood House Estate.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
