About the memorial: S aisle wall, brass wall plaque to Captain Norman Briggs Antrobus, d.1915, together with memorial window. S aisle. Two-light. WW1 memorial. Priest giving communion to kneeling soldier – “Do this in remembrance of me.” “The Master is come and calleth for me.” Photographic likeness of dedicatee, Cpt. Norman Briggs Antrobus, killed in action in Flanders in 1915 aged 22 (recorded on brass plaque nearby – see above). Regimental crest above. Possibly by Henry Gustave Hiller (1864-1946) of Liverpool, an interesting and attractive window.
