To the Glory of God and to the memory of Corporal W J Hobday killed in action on the 16th June 1916 at Zillebeke, France. Also of Lieut. S G Hobday, D.C.M., killed in action on the 8th October 1916 at Courcelette, France. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
