About the memorial: Marble plaque in church. Horizontal tablet resting on to moulded brackets. At the top of the lanceolate mount are clouds in low relief with descending rays. Below is a small sarcophogus with paw feet resting on a plinth. Under and in front of this in high relief is the figure of a grieving woman in classical dress reclining on a gun barrel together with a sword, a spear and a rifle. Superimposed on the apron is a shield with the motto "vigilans". Blazon : sable a chevron emine between three owls crowned impaling or a band embattled counter embattled between two bulls heads erased

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
