About the memorial: MARBLE PLAQUE IN CHURCH. HORIZONTAL TABLET RESTING ON TO MOULDED BRACKETS. AT THE TOP OF THE LANCEOLATE MOUNT ARE CLOUDS IN LOW RELIEF WITH DESCENDING RAYS. BELOW IS A SMALL SARCOPHOGUS WITH PAW FEET RESTING ON A PLINTH. UNDER AND IN FRONT OF THIS IN HIGH RELIEF IS THE FIGURE OF A GRIEVING WOMAN IN CLASSICAL DRESS RECLINING ON A GUN BARREL TOGETHER WITH A SWORD, A SPEAR AND A RIFLE. SUPERIMPOSED ON THE APRON IS A SHIELD WITH THE MOTTO VIGILANS. BLAZON : SABLE A CHEVRON EMINE BETWEEN THREE OWLS CROWNED IMPALING OR A BAND EMBATTLED COUNTER EMBATTLED BETWEEN TWO BULLS HEADS ERASED
