Also in memory of their second son 2nd Lieut. John Wilfred Courthope-Munroe A.S.C. M.T. Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, a member of the O.T.C. (Charterhouse Cadet Corps)born on the 14th June 1893, died on active service at Alexandria, Egypt, on the 24th June 1916. He is buried there in the Chatby Military Cemetery.
