About the memorial: A circular, gravelled area surrounded by a series of low stone walls to give the shape of the Maltese Cross. At its centre is a brick built plinth with a black, sloping, polished slate table with dedicaton and a raised rondel with the emblem of the George Cross Island Association. Nearby is an information board including a map of Malta, its flag and the GCIA emblem. Dedicated in 2016
