To the Glory of God and in memory of Captain John Loy, of 2nd Kitcheners Fighting Scouts. Who died at Heibron, South Africa, 21st. January 1902, aged 44 years. This brass is placed here as a tribute of friendship by some who knew him. A.D. 1904. "They were ready either to live or to die nobly." I. Macc.4:35.
