IN PROUD AND EVERLASTING MEMORY OF THE OFFICERS AND MEN OF 46 ROYAL MARINE COMMANDO WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES IN NORMANDY, HOLLAND AND GERMANY. THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE UNIT WAS IN UPPER CHINE SCHOOL, SHANKLIN, BEFORE THE NORMANDY LANDINGS.
