About the memorial: The Memorial Garden was opened 11th November 2014 on the site of the old library. It comprises a small garden and paved area with a wooden bench and a curved stone wall around the back into which are two stone tablets incised with the words "In memory of those from Knaphill who laid down their lives for their country".
