About the memorial:
Three granite slabs on a stone plinth containing up-lighters in a small memorial garden. The memorial is dedicated to the men and women of Chilton & Windlestone who gave their lives whilst serving their country in Conflict the dedication is book ended by poppy images.
The garden was opened for the benefit of the people of Chilton on the thirteenth of April 1994. But the memorial sculpture was only completed in 2008.
There is another memorial across the road where the names of the fallen are listed.
