About the memorial: Located on the south wall of the nave. Roll of Honour under glass within a simple oak frame. Printed blue lettering in Roman caps and lower case with black ink handwritten names of those from the parish who served in WW1 and WW2. Heading: "Names of the Men who have gone from the parish of Braydeston to serve their country in the Army and Navy." At the top is a design of a cluster of flags, including the Union flag, and flags labelled Australia, Canada, India and Africa, and a shield labelled Merchant Service. There are three columns headed in Roman caps: NAME, RANK and REGIMENT, CORPS or SHIP and the whole is surrounded by a frieze of urns, putti and acanthus leaves in orange, browns, green and white. Centred below the frieze in small italic caps: “Printed and Published by Jarrold & Sons Ltd, The Empire Press, Norwich.”
