About the memorial: The memorial is made of Bon Accord granite carved in the shape of a Celtic cross.it has 12 names of men who lost their lives in WW1 which are engraved in the stone & depicted with gold leaf.. A further name from WW2 is written with raised bronze letters on the plinth.
