About the memorial: A square, stone plinth with a wreath in relief on its top and plaques on its sides showing dedications & battle history of regiment in gold lettering. It has a black stone plaque on its front with the 10th Hussars Regimental badge (Welsh feathers) at its centre, its name ("Prince of Wales' Own") and nickname ("The Shiny Tenth") at the top, lists of battles 1715 - 1969 fought on either side and a dedication below all in gold letttering. It stands on a small square platform and mirrors the similar plinth to 11th Hussars.
