About the memorial: Equestrian statue of memory of Captain Lewis/Louis Nolan, famed for his role in the Charge of the Light Brigade. Erected 2013 outside the former Holy Trinity Church. Vandalised 2016, but looks ok on 2017 StreetView. There are four plaques around the Kentish Ragstone base. One is a replica of the lost plaque to Captain Nolan which used to be in the church (WMO199219).
