About the memorial: A bronze plaque mounted in a nowy headed frame with a pillar each side. Within the head is a badge of EAS, the left pillar has carved 1914 and the right has 1919. Under the bronze plaque is carved upon a wreath PAX. This Great War tablet, created by V.E.CANDEY, was dedicated on 15 July 1921 at the original premises of the East Anglian School in Northgate Avenue, Bury St. Edmunds and reported on in the Bury Free Press on 16 July. The School, which is still open, was renamed to Culford School in 1935.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
