About the memorial: The screen to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel in St Mary's Church was erected in memory of the members of the Young Mens' Bible Class who fell in WW1 and who are named on a brass plaque to the left side of the screen. Carved oak screen with a central open way. Alongside, is an accompanying dedicatory brass plaque attached to a wall mounted wooden backboard. Latin cross at top of backboard. Portrait orientated plaque bears the engraved inscription and names, all infilled with black enamel paint.
