About the memorial: Kentford has a wall mounted plaque on the wall in Kentford (St. Mary's) Church. There are seven names from The Great War, and a further man is buried in the churchyard but not named on the plaque On a nowy headed back backing (slate ?) a white marble tablet. with a small tablet under for the WW2 men. Dedicated on 22nd February 1920 by The Reverend G.A. CHASE M.C.,M.A. (the same day that he performed a similar ceremony in Gazeley).
