About the memorial: Large, wooden tablet with elaborate, carved pillars either side and elaborate, carved pediment with painted central section with dark blue sky and setting or rising gold sun. Paper in bordered with green, foliate design with rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock, one in each corner. Central laurel wreath with Union Jack. Names and inscription in fancy script in blue, red and black.
