TO THE MEMORY OF LIEUTENANT HENRY PERCY TILLARD ELDEST SON OF PHILIP TILLARDESQ OF STREETEND HOUSE IN THIS COUNTY BORN 3RD JULY 1835. DIED AT MHOW 18TH DECEMBER 1858 WHILW ON ACTIVE SERVICE IN CENTRAL INDIA. HE HAD PREVIOUSLY SERVED WITH DISTINCTION DURING THE CRIMEAN CAMPAIGN INCLUDING THE SIEGE AND FALL OF SEBASTOPOL AND WAS A KNIGHT OF THE LEGION OF HONOR. THIS TABLET IS ERECTED IN TOKEN OF THEIR REGARD BY HIS BROTHER OFFICERS OF D TROOP ROYAL HORSE ARTILLERY
