About the memorial: Existing bells refurbished in 2017 as a War Memorial for the village with the addition of a new lighter treble bell inscribed "Lest We Forget" dedicated as a permanent memorial to local people who gave their lives in the Great War and in memory of Rita Bond, a hardworking church warden and verger who worked tirelessly for the church for more than 30 years. Bishop of Peterborough, the right Reverend Donald Allister, attended a special service to rededicate the bells (16 June 2017)
