About the memorial: The main drive divides around a CWGC memorial in the form of a Cross of Sacrifice, designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield (1856-1942), cross at the centre of a grassed circle 150m south-south-east of the principal entrance. It commemorates 80 fallen of the First World War and 63 of the Second.
