About the memorial: Some 135m east-south-east of the main entrance the central drive terminates in a broad cross-axis or promenade, at the centre of which stands a CWGC memorial in the form of a Cross of Sacrifice, designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield (1856-1942), It now commemorates 151 casualties of both World Wars.
